Our Lil Frankenstein

Sweet little man
He thinks all these tubes are supposed to be played with :-)

He got his first haircut!!!

Just snoozing away....

Day before surgery....chunky thighs

Daddy knows how to make me happy

So Ryder's second surgery went very smoothly. I was very relieved when the surgeon came in to 'brag' about how well it went. Ryder had his shunt placed and i KNOW it is going to make him feel so much better over time. RECAP: An incision on his head, on his belly, and on his back.....LOTS OF STITCHES!! Hence, our lil Frankenstein. lol. He is so pitiful right now but once he is older he can really impress the ladies with all of his battle scars :-) The worst part of it all was actually the fact that our little piggy who has gotten used to eating 4 oz. every 3 hours was unable to eat since midnight last night and STILL can't eat until tomorrow. That makes me a little sad. I'm sucha mommy now. He is recovering wonderfully. God has really looked over our little man. What a blessing.

  1. I'm so glad the surgery went well! We've been praying for you guys!

  2. So glad the surgery went well. I continue to pray for Ryder and your sweet family. May God be with you now and always!!

  3. Ryder looks adorable! We are so glad that everything is going so well. We can't wait to meet the little guy! You will remain in our prayers! We love you guys! -Clint and Kristen
